The Boston Whitecaps routed Seattle for the MLU Championship, 31-17 on a foggy day in Westchester, Pennsylvania. Boston’s offense appeared efficient and unstoppable, failing to record a single break until late in the 2nd half, cruising to the 14 pt. win.
The Whitecaps never let go of an early 3-1 and then 12-6 halftime lead, actually increasing their intensity, looking to make sure that Seattle never got bake in the game.
While this is Boston’s 2nd Championship in three years, only 12 members of the 35 man roster were actually part of the 2013 celebration, including Jeff Graham, this year’s MVP. This year he was able to celebrate with his teammates on the field after the win, rather than from a hospital bed following a horrific collision that caused Graham to miss much of the 2nd half of the 2013 final.
